Protect Yourself from Phishing

Protect Yourself from Phishing
7/3/2018 3:06:27 PM
We have noticed an increase in phishing activity. Phishing is an email designed to look like a valid company and lure readers to a fake website in order to capture login information. Members should always take the following precautions:

1. Make sure the website starts with a normal domain. For ASI's domains look for the following: asifcu.org, m.asifcu.org (mobile site) and online.asifcu.com

2. Before entering login information, ensure the site is secure by checking for the lock icon in your web browser (usually located in your address bar).

If there is ever any doubt, stop, close your internet browser and call a trusted number. Do not call a number on the site in question. ASI can be reached at 504.733.7274 or 800.749.6193. After hours, please email us at memberservice@asifcu.com

We hope you stay safe and secure while accessing your financial information.
